What the application ClinkMe is?

ClinkMe is an application which can provide you easily, fastly and intuitively searching and calling contacts from your contact list. With ClinkMe you can plan calls and the application will synchronize them with your calendar and at the right time it will offer you calling.

What do I need to use this application?

You need the device providing operation system iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) with installed software iOS 5 and higher.

Can I install this application even to iPAD or iPod touch?

Yes, you can. This application is determined even for these devices.

Do I have to set up my contact to contact list for using ClinkMe?

No, the application will pair contacts from your device and load them to the ClinkMe contact list. You have to only choose the account which you want to synchronize with (for example Skype, Gmail, …)

Does the application save my contact from the contact list anywhere?

No, ClinkMe is a serious application which takes care of your privacy at maximum. ClinkMe doesn´t save any copy of telephone numbers and names of your contact list, nor another information on our servers. Everything takes place only on your device.

What can be the indicator in the left part of top bar in dialer used for?

The indicator indicates the number of contacts after applying the filter.

How to add a new contact?

In the screen Contacts by using the button (+) in the right top corner of the application.

How to delete a contact?

In the screen Contacts via the contact detail and by choosing the option Delete Contact.

How to edit the information about a contact?

By clicking on contact detail and choosing the possibility Standard detail there displays the information about contact and when using the button EDIT you can make required changes which will be saved after clicking on button DONE.

How to add a contact to favorite items?

By clicking on the icon of contact in the contact list. By clicking on detail of contact and choosing the possibility Extended detail where you click to mark the favorite contact to the field with a star. By adding the favorite item from favorite screen with button (+) in the left top corner of the application.

Why is there changing the icon from keyboard to figurine and back?

If you are in the dialer screen the icon from figure to icon keyboard is changing to be able to control the keyboard from screen of dialer. So show or hide.

How to fastly display the keyboard?

By clicking on the top bar for entering search criteria. By moving your finger from bottom of the toolbar to the top as well. For automatical displaying keyboard after each time you start the application it is needed to activate parameter in the settings of the application (Settings – General – Keypad – Display keypad after start).

How to change behaviour of the application?

If you want to change the keyboard, you have to flick on the keyboard. How and which keyboard will be used can be affected in settings of the application (Settings - General - Keyboard) where you can set if the keyboard Retro will be allowed for this application. In Settings - Start application there you determine, which keyboard you will see after start of the application or which keyboard can vibrate or make a sound.                                                                                                                                                                                                         

How to prevent popping up the keyboard when the application starts?

This parameter can be switched off in general settings: Settings – General – Keypad – Display keypad after start.

How to fastly hide the keyboard?

By clicking on the keyboard icon in lower toolbar or moving your finger on the keyboard up.

What is the difference between the ClinkMe and the Retro keyboard?

ClinkMe displays possible alternatives of characters for the said key. The specific chosen character will be displayed in case of the Retro keyboard.

What does it mean Add to „Call list”?

By clicking on this item you can add the call to the list of calls to be settled. This call is not allocated at a certain date.

How to plan the call for a certain date?

You can use 2 ways to plan the call. By clicking on the contact detail and choosing the option Plan Call. By adding the call from the screen Calls, tag Planned, using the key plus (+) in the upper right corner of the application.

How to plan the call to the call list?

You can use 2 ways to plan the call.By clicking on the contact detail and by choosing the option Add to “Call list”. By adding the call from the screen Calls, tag To be settled, using the key plus (+) in the upper right corner of the application.

How to create the call to be settled from the call planned on a certain date?

If you hold your finger on the said planned call on the screen Calls (tag Planned), the key Call list will be displayed; if you click this key, the call will be shifted among the calls to be settled.

How is the file TOP working?

There are filtred 30 most called phone contacts in the TOP flag. The behaving of TOP flag you can edit by using parameter Hide favorite items and Show number of calling in Settings.

How to add quick choice to the contact?

By clicking on detail of the contact and choosing the option Extended detail. Quick choice you can simply register by clicking to box under the chosen phone number. If a contact has more phone numbers you have to only doubletouch on name of the contact to unrwap extended detail where you can add the quick choice to the selected number.

What is the maximum number of favorite items?

It is possible to set up 20 pages as maximum. There suit 9 positions to 1 page. So the maximum number is 180 favorite items.

How can I make the ClinkMe call?

The ClinkMe call can be made in different ways: either from the Dialer by clicking on the ClinkMe tag – you will click on the chosen contact and the application will ask whether you want to call the said contact via ClinkMe. Or by flicking to the right in the Dialer on the contact. You will be displayed the GMS/ClinkMe keys and, by clicking on the ClinkMe key, you can call the contact via ClinkMe. Further on, choose the Extended Detail option in the Contact Detail, where you can also allocate a speed dial for the Clink Me calls to the contact.   The contact will be called in the same way like through the standard speed dial. The ClinkMe call can be made even in the Favorite module in the ClinkMe tag by clicking on the contact or in the Messaging module by clicking on the menu key and choosing the Call Contact option.

How to plan the call to the call list?

You can use 2 ways to plan the call.By clicking on the contact detail and by choosing the option Add to “Call list”. By adding the call from the screen Calls, tag To be settled, using the key plus (+) in the upper right corner of the application.

Why do I have to register myself for utilization of the module Messages?

Registration is necessary for creation of your clinkID account. Other ClinkMe users that already have the ClinkID account can write a message only to those contacts that also have the ClinkID account. Without creation of this account the messaging service cannot be utilized.

How to create my clinkID account?

A new account is created by clicking on the key More and by choosing the field ClinkID. Or by switching to the screen Messages and clicking on the key Register.

Why do I have to authorize my device?

By allocating the device(s) to your ClinkID account, you notify the device(s) where you can be contacted. After creation of the ClinkID account, the device where you have been registered will be added automatically. Any further device has to be authorized (added to the ClinkID account).

How to add another device to my ClinkID account?

You can add/authorize another device in two ways. By clicking on the key Authorize in the module Messages or by clicking on the key Add device in the module More – ClinkID account setting.

How to log in to my ClinkID account?

Log in to ClinkID can be done in two possible ways. By clicking on the key More and choosing the ClinkID account or by switching to the screen Messages and choosing the key Log in.

How to change password to my ClinkID account?

By clicking on your ClinkID account and choosing the item Change password in the module More.

How to change nickname to my ClinkID account?

By clicking on your ClinkID account and then on the item Nickname and photo in the module More. Then click on the nickname field; the keyboard will be displayed for nickname modifying.

How to add a photo to my ClinkID account?

Click on your ClinkID account and then on the detail of the Nickname and photo item in the module More. If you hold the finger on the square Add photo, the keys Modify and Delete will be displayed. Press the key Modify, choose a photo from your device or make a new photo.

How to send SMS?

By flicking in both directions on the application contact cell, you will display the menu SMS, Writer, Clink. Choose SMS and the window for writing messages will be displayed.

How to send e-mail?

By flicking in both directions on the application contact cell, you will display the menu SMS, cWriter, Clink. Choose cWriter and the window for writing messages will be displayed. By clicking on the key Email you will choose the email account where you want to send the email to and then click on the key Send. You can also choose the email account through the key “books” in the upper right corner of the screen next to the key Send. When clicking on this key the screen with the information about the said contact will be displayed; click on the envelope displayed next to the chosen email account. The envelope will be highlighted blue; return back to cWriter, write a message and click on the key Send. The email window with the pre-filled message will be displayed.

How to send iMessage (free message)?

By flicking in both directions on the contact cell, you will display the menu SMS, cWriter, Clink. Choose cWriter and the window for writing messages will be displayed. By clicking on SMS key you will choose the phone number where you want to send the message to and then click on the key Send.

How to share a contact?

By clicking on contact detail and Share a contactthere is the possibility to select one of the choices (send a contact trought e-mail as a vCard, send text through SMS, send text through e-mail).

How to sent ClinkMe message?

After logging in to your ClinkID account, the ClinkMe message can be sent in 3 possible ways. At first by switching to the screen Message and clicking on the key “notebook with pencil” in the upper right corner of the screen, where the list of contacts having the ClinkID account will be displayed. Or by clicking on the contact detail and choosing the option to send a message. Click on the key ClinkMe here, where the number one should be displayed in the brackets (indicates that the ClinkMe message has been chosen), write the message and then click on the key Send. Dialogue with the pre-filled text of the ClinkMe message will be displayed afterwards. The last method is to flick in both directions on the contact cell, thus displaying the menu SMS, cWriter, Clink. Choose the option Clink here and the dialogue with the contact will be displayed; write the message in the field for messaging and click on the key Send.

What is the meaning of 3 arrows next to the time of message delivery under the ClinkMe message in the dialogue?

These arrows reflex status of the message. If only one arrow is green, it means that the message was sent from the user’s device and is on the way to the end user. If 2 arrows are green, it means that the message was delivered to the end user – at least to one device.If 3 arrows are green, the message was delivered and read by the end user.

What is the meaning of a red circle with exclamation mark next to the time of message delivery under the ClinkMe message in the dialogue?

Indicates an error during sending or delivering the message to the end user.

How to send vCard through ClinkMe?

By clicking on contact detail and by choosing the option vCard through ClinkMe. Then choose the information about the contact you want to send and click on the key Next. Choose the contact the vCard shall be sent to.

What is the meaning of the square next to the field for writing a message in the dialogue with the said contact?

When clicking on the square, you can send a picture/photo to the contact as the annex or send the information about your current location.

If I lock (deactivate) use of my current location by ClinkMe, how can I unlock (activate) this function again?

If you deactivate use of your location by the application, the function Location cannot be used. If you decide at any time to unlock this function, this must be done in settings of your device, in particular in the tag Privacy – Location services where you can find the list of applications utilizing the GPS and Wi-Fi service for determination or your location. You must find the ClinkMe application among them and to activate it again.

How to modify my current location?

Click on the pin in the map, hold it and drag to the place of a new location.

How to delete dialogue with the said contact?

You can delete the dialogue in 2 ways. When you flick by the finger on the dialogue, the key Delete will be displayed. By clicking on this key, you will delete the whole dialogue. Or click on the key Edit in the upper right corner of the open conversation and then on the key Delete everything in the upper left corner of the screen.

How to create a broadcast message?

In modul Messaging by clinking on icon of two people in left top corner. There you can choose contacts you would like to send the message to. Then fill the text into the text box and click on Send button.

What is the screen locking used for?

It is to prevent other people to be able to get into locked modules even if they have your device. This tool is available in Profi package.

What is the safed and encrypted communication used for?

To prevent abuse content of your message during transfer of the message.

How to change encrypting key for secure communication?

Generated key may to be changed by using button Edit in menu Secure key for communication in contact detail. Caution when changing the encrypting key. Because system android is not able to accept characters as +, - or keyboard emoji there might happen that your contact would be able to read your encrypted message. Please vote characters which are available on iOS and Android eather.

What are the push notifications used for?

In the case you are not currently working with ClinkMe you might welcome the posibility of push notification. The notification alerts you to incoming messagins to the module Messaging and planned calls. To display these notifications it is necessary to allow notifications in general settings of your device.

Where to choose what should be displayed on device in push notifications?

The information you want to be displayed in alert of incomming message you can choose in settings of ClinkMe aplication in module More section ClinkID – device detail.

Why can’t I see the button for encryption key generation?

The button for encryption key generation is displayed only for the contacts having ClinkID. The ClinkID registered by the contact is necessary for displaying the button for encryption key generation.

How can I create a group of contacts?

The group is generated in ClinkMe by clicking on the + key in the right upper corner in the Groups tag of the Dialer module. Name of the Group is filled in and/or a picture allocated to the Group afterwards. Then, by clicking on the Next key, the source of the Group and the contacts that should fall within the Group shall be chosen.

How can I remove a Group of contacts?

By clicking on the Modify key in the Group Detail, parameters of the Group can be changed. When clicking on the Delete key in to bottom screen part, the whole Group will be deleted. Attention! When all contacts of the Group are deleted, the whole Group will be deleted as well.

How can I allocate a photograph to the Group?

By clicking on the Modify key in the Group Detail, parameters of the Group can be changed  - you will be switched to the edit mode. Hold the finger on the Group icon in the Group Detail, the edit mode, until the keys Delete/Modify are displayed – by clicking on the Modify key you can allocate a picture to the Group either from you picture book or you can make a new photograph.

What the ClinkMe Group serves for?

The ClinkMe application contains and supports its own group type – the ClinkMe Group. This ClinkMe Group enables to add the contacts coming from different sources. You can thus create the groups, where the contacts coming both from Exchange and from the iCloud service can be placed.

How can I change the page name for favorite contacts?

By clicking on the Editor key in the left upper corner of the application. You will be switched to the edit mode and name of the page in favorites can be changed.

How can I send more pictures all at once in ClinkMe?

By clicking in the Messaging module on the square - on the left next to the field for text writing, the menu of options will be displayed and you will choose the Send Picture option. The gallery of pictures will then be displayed and you will choose the pictures to be sent.

How many pictures can I set with the ClinkMe message?

You can send up to 4 pictures of the total size of max. 1MB per picture, i.e. 4MB together at once.

How does the voice search work?

The voice search is hidden as a third available keyboard. When clicking on the keyboard, you can enter the voice command that will be searched for after a short time interval. The chosen record can be modified on the ClinkMe keyboard.

What does message distribution mean?

The ClinkMe application can work online and send messages to more devices, provided that they have the same own ClinkID.

When 2 devices are online, can I send a message at first from one device and from the other device afterwards?

Yes, when 2 devices are online, the sent and the accepted messages are displayed on both of them. If in this case the message is sent from one device, it will be also displayed on the second one.

Why do certain contacts have inactive key for ClinkMe calls?

The contacts have the key for ClinkMe calls inactive, because the ClinkID account has not been registered yet.

What is the ClinkMe speed dial?

You can enter speed dial for ClinkMe calls in the same way like for the GSM calls. The  speed dial item for ClinkMe calls is now available in the Contact Detail – Extended Detail. You will enter it like the standard speed dial for GSM calls. But the speed dial for ClinkMe calls cannot be the same like the standard speed dial for GSM calls.

How can I plan ClinkMe call?

The ClinkMe call is planned in the same way like the GSM call, it is enough to tick the ClinkMe item. This item is displayed only for the contacts having ClinkID! If you call via ClinkMe to somebody and you will not get through, you can plan the call from the ClinkMe call screen by clicking on the Plan key.

Does ClinkMe call support Bluetooth devices?

Yes, the ClinkMe application recognizes the Bluetooth device automatically (if the phone is paired with it) and reroutes the call to this device.

Can I disable acceptance of ClinkMe messages and ClinkMe calls on my device?

Yes, you can. Chose your device in settings of the ClinkID account – Identifiers and Devices -  and determine whether or not you want to disable acceptance of ClinkMe messages and ClinkMe calls.

How can I transfer my security keys to another device?

You can transfer the security keys to another device through Synchronization of the devices in the ClinkID account settings. Both devices on the same Wi-Fi is the necessary prerequisite for successful key synchronization.

Why my devices fail to be connected during synchronization?

There are many reasons, why the devices cannot be connected. Check whether your are under the same ClinkID on both devices and whether you are on the same Wi-Fi, restart the ClinkMe application and repeat synchronization.

Jaké informace se přenáší přes QR kód?

Přes QR kód se nepřenáší pouze bezpečnostní klíče, ale také ostatní metadata. Konkrétně přes QR kód můžete přenést oblíbené i s názvy stránek oblíbených, rychlé volby, pořadí tel. čísel u kontaktu, plánované hovory a PIN k uzamknutí obrazovek Zpráv a Hovorů. Přesnos metadat lze však realizovat jen v případě, že na jednom zařízení tato metadata máte a na druhém zařízení máte čistou instalaci aplikace – nemáte zde tedy žádné oblíbené, plánované hovory, rychlé volby apod.
